Improvements to the Riverwalk in the City of Lowell

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2810-0100, in line 25, by inserting after the words “urban parks” the following: “provided further, that not less than $2,500,000 shall be expended for enhancements to the Riverwalk in the city of Lowell including but not limited to repairs and improvements for benches, walls, and asphalt, and prevention of beach erosion in the Lowell Heritage State Park, Sampas Pavillion, Rynne Beach, and the UMass Lowell Bellegarde Boathouse.”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$40,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$42,500,000”;
