Amendment #499 to H4400

Alcoholic Beverage Sales

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by adding the following new section: -

“SECTION XX. Chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after section 33B, the following new section:-

Section 33C. Establishments currently holding a license to sell alcohol to be drunk on the premises shall be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages or alcohol at a discounted price, provided that such beverages are listed at a discounted price for at least three week days between Sunday to Wednesday, inclusive.”.
