Amendment #54 to H4400

Resolve to Stop the Violence Program

Mr. Livingstone of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2 by adding after item 8900-1100 the following item:

"XXXX-XXXX  For the re-entry program RSVP at the department of correction intended to reduce recidivism rates; provided, that the department shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means no later than two years after the program starts on re-entry programming at the department of correction; and provided further, that the report shall include information on the type of programs provided and the recidivism rate of the offenders who successfully complete the programs ........................................ $300,000."
