Amendment #578 to H4400

DDS Transferability

Mr. Lewis of Framingham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5920-2000, in line 5, by inserting after “2017” the following:

“provided further, that the commissioner of the Department of Developmental Services may transfer funds from this item to item 5920-2010, as necessary, under an allocation plan which shall detail, by object class, the distribution of the funds to be transferred and which the commissioner shall file with the house and senate committees on ways and means not less than 30 days before such transfer; and provided further, that not more than $5,000,000 shall be transferred from this item in fiscal year 2019”.
