Amendment #716 to H4400

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Representatives DiZoglio of Methuen, Chan of Quincy, O'Day of West Boylston, Smizik of Brookline and Vargas of Haverhill move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1201-0100, by adding at the end the following: “; and provided, further, that not less than $800,000 shall be expended to organizations providing tax assistance services to individuals and families qualifying for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service, for the provision of said services”.
