Community Housing Partnership Initiative

Representatives Peake of Provincetown, Whelan of Brewster, Vieira of Falmouth, Crocker of Barnstable and Fernandes of Falmouth move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-0099, in line 52, by inserting after "requirements;" the following: "provided further, that $100,000 shall be expended to the Community Development Partnership of Cape Cod to provide a comprehensive community-based strategy to build public support for affordable housing and equip low- to moderate-income residents, business & community leaders and local elected & appointed officials with the knowledge and skills to support the creation of more affordable housing on the lower Cape"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$6,738,500" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$6,838,500".
