Amendment #775 to H4400

International Institute of New England/Mental Health Services for Immigrants and Refugees

Representatives Khan of Newton, O'Day of West Boylston, Smizik of Brookline, Walsh of Framingham, Rogers of Cambridge, Garballey of Arlington, Hecht of Watertown, Ultrino of Malden, Lewis of Framingham, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Keefe of Worcester, Cutler of Duxbury, Provost of Somerville, Tosado of Springfield, Gentile of Sudbury, Connolly of Cambridge and Mom of Lowell move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5046-0000, in line 20, by inserting after “measured” the following: “; and provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to the International Institute of New England for culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health services for immigrants and refugees who have experienced torture and trauma” ; and in said item by striking out the figures "$486,718,033" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$486,968,033".
