Amendment #784 to H4400

City of Peabody Emergency Water Costs

Representatives Walsh of Peabody and Speliotis of Danvers move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2800-0101, by inserting the following: "provided, that not less than $1,200,000 shall be expended for the City of Peabody to offset the burden of additional water costs due to the fire damaged Coolidge Avenue Water Treatment Plant"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$1,100,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$2,300,000".
