Amendment #785 to H4400

Regional School Transportation

Representatives Hill of Ipswich, Lombardo of Billerica, Dooley of Norfolk, Whelan of Brewster and Muradian of Grafton move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7035-0006, by striking out the figures “62,521,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “86,098,349”

; and further moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION X.  Section 14 of Chapter 94G of the General Laws, as amended by Chapter 55 of Acts of 2017, is hereby amended in subsection (b) by inserting after “ Chapter 94C”  the following:-

“ and (vi) Regional School Transportation (7035-0006) the appropriation of funding dispersed for the previous fiscal year does not properly reimburse a city, town, or regional school districts of all approved costs, as defined in chapter 71.”
