Robert F. Kennedy Children Action Corps Detention Diversion Program
Representatives Ryan of Boston, Dykema of Holliston, Khan of Newton and Lewis of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4200-0200, in line 2, by inserting after "programs", the following: "provided, that the department shall expend not less than $500,000 for the Detention Diversion Advocacy Program to be coordinated by the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps to prevent high-risk juveniles presenting before the court from penetrating further into the juvenile justice system;” and in said item by striking out the figures "28,442,670" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$28,942,670".
