Amendment #86 to H4400

Neponset Greenway Old Comfort Station Upgrades in Mattapan Square

Mr. Cullinane of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2810-0100, in line 25, by inserting after the phrase “including urban parks,” the following: “provided further that $100,000 shall be expended for structural analysis and construction upgrades of the old comfort station building owned by the Department of Conservation and Recreation located at the entrance of the Neponset Greenway walking and bike path in the Mattapan section of the city of Boston for the purpose of improving and making functional the structure so that the Department of Conservation and Recreation may advertise the space for lease for a small business which will benefit the surrounding community including, but not limited to, a bike-up coffee shop, an ice cream shop or a bike shop”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$40,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$40,100,000”
