Amendment #889 to H4400
Income Tax Freeze
Representatives Provost of Somerville, Connolly of Cambridge, Hecht of Watertown and Rushing of Boston move to amend the bill by adding the following section:
SECTIONÂ XXXX. Section 4 of chapter 62 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out paragraph (b) and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-
(b) Part B taxable income shall be taxed at the rate of 5.10 per cent for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2019.
