Amendment #89 to H4400
Regional Economic Development Funding
Representatives Williams of Springfield, Mahoney of Worcester, Galvin of Canton, DuBois of Brockton, Vincent of Revere, Cassidy of Brockton, Cahill of Lynn, Puppolo of Springfield, Hay of Fitchburg, Walsh of Framingham, Velis of Westfield, Cutler of Duxbury, Linsky of Natick, Wagner of Chicopee, Khan of Newton, Markey of Dartmouth, Murray of Milford and Muratore of Plymouth move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7007-0300 the following item:
"7007-XXXX for the Regional Economic Development Fund to effectively implement the REDO program and improve the state’s competitiveness; leverage private, philanthropic, and federal funding; link the public and private sectors; provide grass roots support for state initiatives; and grow jobs and therefore state and local revenue..............$600,000".
