Amendment #940 to H4400

Behavioral Health DSH

Representatives Finn of West Springfield, Rogers of Cambridge, Barber of Somerville, Connolly of Cambridge, Vega of Holyoke, Tosado of Springfield, Garlick of Needham, Hecht of Watertown, Petrolati of Ludlow, Velis of Westfield, Scaccia of Boston, Keefe of Worcester and Boldyga of Southwick move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4000-0700 by inserting after "determined by the executive office of health and human services;"  the following: "provider further, MassHealth shall provide a supplemental payment of at least $12,307,769 for inpatient and outpatient behavioral and mental health services provided by disproportionate share hospitals subject to all required federal approvals and the availability of federal financial participation and shall be prioritized for services provided to children and adolescents"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$2,640,228,033" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$2,652,535,802".
