TAFDC Grant Simplification

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 4403-2000, by striking out the words  “that the payment standard for families who do not qualify for an exempt category of assistance under subsection (e) of section 110 of chapter 5 of the acts of 1995 shall be 2.75 per cent below the otherwise applicable payment standard in fiscal year 2019, under the state plan required under the federal Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, Public Law 104-193, as amended, and under said act and”.
