Community Service
Mr. Frost of Auburn moves to amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:-
“SECTION XX. A person less than 21 years of age found to be in use of tobacco or vapor products for the third time shall be subject to not more than 2 hours of community service for a charitable institution. Failure to complete the two hours of community service within 120 days shall result in the suspension of the person’s driver’s license or the delay of issuance of the person’s driver’s license or permit for 60 days.
A violation of this section shall be a noncriminal offense.”
