An Amendment Relative to Marine Genomics

Ms. Ferrante of Gloucester moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7002-0015, by adding the following: "Provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be expended for the new equipment and technological improvements to combine Next-Gen Sequencing with High Performance Computer and Big Data Analytics to mine the rich genetic diversity of marine organisms for a joint proposal of the Ocean Genome Legacy/Marine Science Center (OGL/MSC) and Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute"
