Definition of Family

Mr. Tran moves to amend the bill by Deleting the definition of Family or household member in lines 19 to 25 and replacing it with the following:-

Family or household member”, a person who:

(i) is married to the respondent;

(ii) is residing with the respondent in the same household;

(iii) is related by blood or marriage to the respondent;

(iv) has or is having a child in common with the respondent, regardless of whether they have ever married or lived together; or

(v) is in a substantive dating relationship with the respondent;

(vi) is engaged to the respondent.”
