Creating clean fuels technology industry
Mr. Goldstein-Rose of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 2A by inserting before the words “EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY” the following –
“2200-XXXXFor research and pre-commercialization activities to develop cost-competitive fuels that are produced from carbon dioxide that is or would otherwise be in the atmosphere, and that are replacements for gasoline, methane, or diesel fuels requiring no new infrastructure for their deployment, provided that $3,000,000 shall be expended for projects at the Institute for Applied Life Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst..............................................................$10,000,000”
