Marblehead Coastal Repairs

Ms. Ehrlich of Marblehead moves to amend the bill by inserting, in section 2, in line item 2000-7073, after line 98, after “storage,” the following: “and provided further, that $270,000 shall be expended to replace the Front Street Seawall in the town of Marblehead, repair the concrete stairs providing beach access, and repair the Front Street roadway; and provided further that $106,000 shall be expended for repairs to the seawall at Hammond Park in the town of Marblehead; and provided further that $235,000 shall be expended for rebuilding the Grace Oliver Beach Seawall in the town of Marblehead, installing rip rap shoring, and resurfacing Beacon Street; and provided further that $335,000 shall be expended for repairs to earth embankments and revetments at Fort Sewall in the town of Marblehead; and provided further that $48,000 shall be expended for repairs to the Gallison Avenue revetment in the town of Marblehead.”
