UMass Bus Electrification Competitive Grant Program

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 2000-7081, in line 413, by inserting after “resiliency” the following: “provided further, that not less than $20,000,000 shall be expended for the establishment and initial funding of the UMass Fleet Electrification Grant Program to provide monies and technical assistance to universities in the University of Massachusetts system for the purpose of implementing innovative transportation planning and fleet electrification projects”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$75,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$95,000,000”.
