Amendment #111 to H4617
Telemedicine and Prescriptions
Representatives Brodeur of Melrose and McMurtry of Dedham move to amend the bill in section 50 in line 1096 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:--“; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 69 in line 1585 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:-- “; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in conformance to the standards of care applicable to the telemedicine provider’s profession and specialty, applicable federal and state health information privacy and security standards, standards for informed consent, and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 74 in line 1621 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:--“; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 76 in line 1713 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:--“; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 79 in line 1784 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:--“; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 81 line 1869 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:--“; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 84 in line 1942 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:--“; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;” and in section 86 in line 2008 by inserting after the words, “mental health” the following:-- “; including, but not limited to, prescribing medication in accordance with subsection (h) and not categorized as a Schedule II-V countable controlled substance;”
