Telemedicine and the Patient-Provider Relationship
Representatives Brodeur of Melrose and McMurtry of Dedham move to amend the bill by inserting after subsection (h) of section 50 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
and by inserting after subsection (h) of section 74 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
and by inserting after subsection (h) section 76 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
and by inserting after subsection (h) of section 79 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
and by inserting after subsection (h) of section 81 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
and by inserting after subsection (h) of section 84 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
and by inserting after subsection (h) of section 86 the following:-- “(i) Heath care services provided by telemedicine in accordance with subsection (h) shall be considered equivalent to health care services provided in person for the purposes of establishment of a patient-provider relationship.”
