Amendment #1 to H4635

Emergency preamble

Mr. Tucker of Salem moves to amend the bill by inserting before the enacting clause the following emergency preamble: “Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to convey a certain parcel of state owned land, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.”;

And moves to further amend the bill, in section 1, in line 3, by striking out the works "Chapter 462 of the Acts of 2016";

And moves to further amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following section:-

Section 6. Chapter 462 of of the Acts of 2016 is hereby repealed.
