Agritourism Activities on Farms

Ms. Atkins of Concord moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

SECTION XXXX. Section 1A of chapter 128 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof, after the word “market”, the following words:- “; and shall include agritourism, which is any educational, recreational, or social activity, including weddings performed on a farm, which serves to promote the farm and its products, provided however that income from agritourism activities do not exceed 50 per cent of the annual farm revenue from the sale of farm product over any 5 year period”.
