Amendment #80 to H4714

Amendment Relative to Rolling Stock

Mr. Cahill of Lynn moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 21 the following 4 sections:

SECTION 21A. Section 1 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the definition of “Retail establishment” the following definition:-

“Rolling stock”, trucks, tractors and trailers used by common carriers to transport goods in interstate commerce.

SECTION 21B. Section 6 of said chapter 64H, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

(yy) Sales of rolling stock.

SECTION 21C. Section 1 of chapter 64I, as so appearing, is amended by inserting after the word “establishment”, in line 5, the following words:- ”, “rolling stock.

SECTION 21D. Section 7 of said chapter 64I, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

(f) Storage, use or other consumption of rolling stock.
