Amendment #31 to H4725

An Act to ensure overnight shelter for persons suffering from opioid addiction

Representatives Diehl of Whitman, Moran of Lawrence and Crocker of Barnstable move to amend the bill by adding the following 2 sections:-

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding section 6D of chapter 29 of the General Laws, for St. Joseph’s Homeless Shelter in the village of Hyannis and the Daybreak Shelter in the city of Lawrence, the sum set forth in section XY is hereby appropriated from the General Fund.

SECTION XY.

The Department of Public Health

XXXX- XXXX For St. Joseph’s Homeless Shelter in the village of Hyannis ………………………$50,000.

XXXX-XXXY For the Daybreak Shelter in the city of Lawrence………………………$50,000.”.
