Amendment #40 to H4725

Expanding access to opioid addiction treatment

Representatives Diehl of Whitman, Lyons of Andover, O'Connell of Taunton and Lombardo of Billerica move to amend the bill by adding the following 2 sections:-

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding section 6D of chapter 29 of the General Laws, to provide for detoxification and treatment facilities assisting patients with opioid-related substance use disorders, the sum set forth in section XY is hereby appropriated from the General Fund.

SECTION XY.

The Department of Public Health

XXXX- XXXX For the bureau of substance addiction services, to be expended to detoxification and treatment facilities assisting patients with opioid-related substance use disorders…………$75,000,000.”.
