Computer Definition Clarification

Representatives Smizik of Brookline and Cutler of Duxbury move to amend the bill in section 2, in line 17, by inserting after the word “shipped” the words “; and provided further, that the term “computer” shall not include a tablet, a game console, a television, a device with an integrated and primary display that has a screen size of 20 square inches or less, a server other than a small-scale server, or an industrial computer”; and

in section 16, in line 181, by striking out the words “as adopted on December 14, 2016” and inserting in place thereof the words “as in effect on the date of enactment of this Act”.
