Amendment #6 to H4737
Efficiency Standards
Mr. Cutler of Duxbury moves to amend the bill in section 1, by striking out lines 4 through 6 in their entirety; and
In section 5, by striking out lines 96 through 101 in their entirety; and
in section 16 by striking out lines 183 through 197 in their entirety; and
by striking out section 17 and inserting in place thereof the following section:
"SECTION 17. Said section 5 of said chapter 25B, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the fourth paragraph the following paragraph:- On or after January 1, 2020, no commercial hot-food holding cabinet, computer or computer monitor, lavatory faucet, kitchen faucet, public lavatory faucet, portable electric spa, replacement aerator, showerhead, urinal, water closet, or water cooler may be sold or offered for sale in the state unless the efficiency of the new product meets or exceeds the efficiency standards set forth in the regulations adopted pursuant to this section. ”.
