Amendment #25 to H4738

Add grandfathering language into bill for purposes of RPS and Clean Peak

Mr. McGonagle of Everett moves to amend the bill by adding at the end of SECTION 6 in line 37 the following sentence:

"Each annual increase shall be prospective for new customer contracts entered into by the retail

electricity suppliers after the increase goes into effect."

And moves to further amend said bill in SECTION 7 by inserting at the end of paragraph (a) in line 48 the following sentence:

"The initial application of this requirement and each annual increase shall be prospective for new

customer contracts entered into by the retail electricity suppliers after the increase goes into effect."
