Commonwealth Climate Change Goals

Ms. Gobi, Messrs. O'Connor and Pacheco and Ms. Forry move to amend the bill in Section 18 by striking out the words “and (v) programming for restorative justice, jail diversion, and workforce development or alternative education in communities disproportionately impacted by high rates of arrest and incarceration for offenses under chapter 94C.” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

(v) programming for restorative justice, jail diversion, and workforce development or alternative education in communities disproportionately impacted by high rates of arrest and incarceration for offenses under chapter 94C; and (vi) programs that help meet climate change goals established under Chapter 298 of the Acts of 2008.
