Environmental impacts of marijuana cultivation

Messrs. Lewis, O'Connor and Moore move to amend the bill by striking section 26, and inserting in place thereof the following section:

SECTION 26. The cannabis control commission shall establish a working group to provide recommendations on how to reduce energy and water usage and other related environmental impacts in the cultivation of marijuana not later than April 1, 2018. The cannabis control commission shall then promulgate regulations based on these recommendations.
