Reasonable Interest Rates

Ms. L'Italien moves to amend the bill by inserting the following new Section:-

SECTION X.  Clause forty-first A of said section 5 of said chapter 59, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 1170-1171, the words “the rate provided in section sixty-two of chapter sixty”, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- a rate equal to the prime rate, as reported by the federal reserve board in federal reserve statistical release H. 15, plus 2%"
