Threat Response Program

Mr. Moore moves to amend the bill by inserting, after section 2, the following new section:-

"SECTION 3. The department of higher education shall conduct a cost study of the implementation and integration of a threat response program to be used for emergency communications both on campus and off campus at each public institution of higher education. the department shall submit a report on the costs and any legislative or regulatory recommendations, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry those recommendations into effect by filing the same with the clerk of the senate and house of representatives and the  joint committee on higher education not later than March 11, 2018."
