Evidence-based Decision Making

Mr. Cyr moves to amend the bill in section 1, by striking out, in line 10, the words “and (xii)” inserting in place thereof the following words:- “(xii) understanding the impact of cognitive biases on financial decision making; and (xiii)”

And moves to further amend the bill, in section 1, by inserting after the word “literacy”, in line 18, the following words:- “. The department shall consult with experts in the field of behavioral science or related disciplines to incorporate behavioral science in the development and identification of effective resources, materials, and methods of instruction on personal financial literacy”
