Expanding the Definition of Affordable Housing to Include Manufactured Homes

Mr. O'Connor move to amend the bill by inserting at the end the following:-

SECTION 15. Chapter 40B of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 20 the following section:

Section 20A. All manufactured homes, as defined in section 32Q of chapter 140, in a manufactured housing community, as defined in section 32F of chapter 140, located within a city or town shall be included as low or moderate income housing for the purposes of sections 20 to 23, inclusive, toward a city or town’s count of housing units.
