Civics Endorsement

Mr. Rush moves to amend the bill in subsection (k) of section 2 by striking out the words:- "The board shall create a civics endorsement for educators that demonstrates competency in teaching civics to students." and inserting in place thereof the following:- "The board shall provide opportunities for educators to receive professional development in civics education."
