Wording Clarification and Effective Dates

Mr. Dooley of Norfolk moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line 54, by striking out the following: “provide each student with the opportunity to” and inserting in place thereof the following: “mandate that each student”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 1, in line 12, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 2, in line 48, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 2, in line 51, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 2, in line 55, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 2, in line 56, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 3, in line 70, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill in section 4, in line 78, by striking out the following: “may” and inserting in place thereof the following: “shall”;

And moves to further amend the bill by adding the following section: -

“SECTION XXXX. All provisions of this Act shall take effect by the 2020-2021 school year.”.
