Maximizing relevant education, training or service completed by an individual as a member of the armed forces

Mr. Walsh of Peabody moves to amend the bill by inserting, after section 9, the following section:-

SECTION 9A. Section 240 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

The board shall promulgate regulations to determine the allowable education and work hour credits for veterans and military personnel.

And moves to further amend the bill by inserting, after section 10, the following 2 sections:-

SECTION 10A. Section 2A of chapter 141 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

The examiners shall promulgate regulations to determine the allowable education and work hour credits for veterans and military personnel.

SECTION 10B. Section 4 of chapter 142 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, at the end of the second paragraph, the following sentence:-

The examiners shall promulgate regulations to determine the allowable education and work hour credits for veterans and military personnel.
