Mr. Barrett moves that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7002-0015, by adding at the end thereof:

“; and provided further that, in the disbursement of funds authorized under this section, the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center shall prioritize partnerships between academia, including public and private higher education, industry, and government aimed at closing identified workforce skills gaps in the areas of biotechnology and life sciences in all regions of the Commonwealth.”
