Deductions to repay non-fault overpayments from future UI checks

Ms. Friedman moves that the proposed new draft be amended by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX. Section 69 of chapter 151A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “section 69D”, in line 6, the following words:-

; provided further, that the amount deducted each week for an overpayment made to any individual who, in the judgment of the director, is without fault shall not exceed 25 per cent of the individual’s weekly unemployment benefit rate
