Medically Assisted Treatment

Messrs. Tarr and O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 15 the following section:-

“SECTION 15A. Subsection (a) of section 2RRRR of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the second sentence the following sentence:- A sheriff of a house of correction that contracts with the department of public health may also participate in the program; provided, however, that such participation shall be pursuant to any terms that the department may establish for such a contract.”.
