Alternative Pain Management

Ms. L'Italien, Ms. O'Connor Ives, Messrs. O'Connor and Feeney move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting the following new section:-

SECTION XX.  No health insurance plan offered to residents of the Commonwealth pursuant to Chapters 175I-Q shall cap the number of visits for an enrollee seeking to use chiropractic care as an alternative to opioid medication for the purpose of acute or chronic pain management.
