Clipper City Rail

Ms. O'Connor Ives and Mr. Tarr move to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 7002-1120, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $2,500,000 shall be expended for the  replacement of the deteriorating bulkhead supporting the boardwalk on Newburyport’s Central Waterfront and for the design and construction of the final phase of the Clipper City rail trail connection across United States highway route 1, including redesign of the United States route 1 rotary and pedestrian ways; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended for upgrades and improvements to the shellfish purification plant in the city of Newburyport".
