OSD Group Purchasing of Textbooks and Educational Materials

Messrs. Tarr, Ross and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting, after section _, the following new section:-

"Section__. Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary the operational services division shall develop according to the guidelines and protocols in accordance with the U.S. Department of Education Regulation 668.164 to establish procedures allowing for reduction  the cost of textbooks and other educational materials through methods including but not limited through bulk purchasing."
