Financial Education for Women

Ms. Donoghue, Messrs. Eldridge and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 0610-0010, by inserting at the end thereof the following:- “; provided, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for a program that educates women of all ages, ethnicities, economic backgrounds, and levels of financial knowledge about wage negotiation, money management, retirement, and investment strategies”; and in said item, by striking out the figure “$435,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$935,000”
