Security Enhancement Grant Program for Nonprofits at high risk of terrorist attack

Ms. Chandler, Messrs. Moore and Lesser and Ms. Creem moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0600, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for a nonprofit security grant pilot program to provide support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack and are ineligible for the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program based on their location”; and in said section 2, in said item 8000-0600, by striking out the figure “$2,533,464” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$2,608,464”.
