Mr. Lewis moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8324-0000, by adding at the end thereof the following:- "provided that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the fire department in the Town of Wakefield for safety equipment improvements”; and in said line item, by striking out the figure "$24,201,575" and inserting in place thereof the figure "$24,251,575".
