Quality Rating and Improvement System

Messrs. Crighton and Eldridge, Ms. Friedman, Ms. L'Italien, Messrs. Rush, Moore, Lewis, Welch, Cyr, Brownsberger and Collins, Ms. Gobi and Mr. O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 3000-1020, by inserting at the end thereof the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $2,500,000 shall be expended by the Department of Early Education and Care for technical assistance related to the healthy eating and physical activity requirements within the Massachusetts Quality Rating Improvement System, of which not less than $1,500,000 will be provided to out-of-school time providers engaged in QRIS"; and in said item 3000-1020, by striking out the figure "$30,376,619 " and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$32,876,619";
